Its been awhile since I've shared but I've been super busy with lots of projects, but It's time to get the ball rolling again and update you all on new work. I've been back in the studio and I'm experimenting on wood again. New paintings with less familiar faces or focused details. These are shadowy figures that only reveal small things. I'm enjoying the Beginning of these because it's all pushing paint around. I'm still never sure what will emerge. Shaping profiles and textures under the form will eventually reveal a figure in flux. The papers chosen for this series come from a very old homes and garden book with beautiful photos and illustrations as well as a few dark patterns I picked up at the paper source.
